Revoking Men's Authority Privileges

The time has come for men to be removed from all levels of power. With a few exceptions.
A couple days ago, some clown posted a comment on Threads expressing his support for feminism — as long as it wasn’t about “displacing men in leadership with women.”
Now, Sugar, I could not let that comment go by without some DISCUSSION.

If your social media algorithm is feminist-centered, as mine is, you’ll see a meme circulate regularly proclaiming (perimenopausal paraphrasing) “men fear that if women run the world, we’ll treat them the same way they treated us.”
And you already know the fine point Margaret Atwood made when she said “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.”
Another I’ve seen quite a bit says: Men are lucky women just want equality and not revenge.
See here, patriarchy is a ZERO SUM ideology. If we win ANYTHING, they feel like they lose EVERYTHING. Patriarchy has conditioned men to believe that they must not only get theirs, but also ours and yours and everyone else's. And that turn about is not just fair play but only the beginning to crushing any opponent. It has ALSO conditioned them to think that everyone shares their lived experience. The way THEY experience the world is the way EVERYONE experiences it. Their certitude over opinion and facts is immovable, concrete, and supreme.
With women coming into greater power — and we undeniably are — this poses an existential threat to their very existence. Their worldview, their… oh no!! -- their entire, comfy, cozy freaking way of life!
I mean, fuck me sideways with the stupidity.

This current coup-attempt (we’ll have to wait and see how the judiciary holds) of the U.S. government is an absolute man-tantrum over women, Black people, Indigenous, LGBTQIA, Asian, and Latin people coming into greater power WHILST(!) living their authentic selves — refusing to make themselves smaller for the comfort of weak, brittle white men. They are ending the knee no longer and it is glorious.
Alas, toooo many men — even men who would count themselves as LIBERAL (srsly)— are scaredddddd, y’all.
They’re willing to go to drastic measures to ensure their unfounded fears about the ****exploitative, sociopathic lethality OF WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP**** don’t manifest.
*️⃣ Including allowing a ketamine-addicted, psychopathic, needy, emotional paralytic with a bottomless blackhole of greed for power steal the U.S. government, using Trump as a lubricant.
*️⃣*️⃣ AND THEN(!), men shame the women in their lives for being terrified at what could be in store should this coup attempt succeed. The ignorance is nauseating.
What’s particularly stupid about the whole thing is that these fears have are completely unfounded.

Women are conditioned from the first breath they take to be in service to others.
To prioritize the wants and needs of The Other, of the community, before their own. To engage in the deepest form of self-abandonment, lest they be labeled as selfish and cast out from various communities.
The empathathetic and communal-centered behavior is, at the very least, trauma-induced conditioning forced upon women in exchange for membership in our sociopolitical infrastructure we call a country. A church. A tribe. A school. A corporation. Each of these species of institution for the most part requires extreme communal behavior of women who wish to participate.
Men are conditioned to conquer.
Women are conditioned to cooperate.
As women have stepped onto the global leadership stage in greater numbers, it is clear they have not divested from this sense of prioritizing the well-being of the group over that of the individual.
Are there exceptions to this rule? Of course. Obedient women are absolutely the lifeblood of white supremacy and patriarchy and many women — mostly cishet white — participate with such zeal and fervor, they have their own nickname: The Pick-Me Girl. And their own influencer trend: The Trad Wife (vomit, gross, gross, gross).
But they are exception. Just like there are plenty of men who can see, hear, and celebrate women. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE and I am noting them now for the all the "not me" people reading this. I know not you, dude. Chill.
For the most part, however, the further away women are from the white male power infrastructure, the better communal leaders they embody.
THIS IS WHY…
Feminism tailored to advancing women’s rights by mimicing patriarchy for uterus-havers failed abysmally. And rightly so.
AND ALSO WHY WHEN WOMEN ACCESS AUTHORITY, YOU DON'T SEE…
Women calling for the widespread hunting and execution of men.
Women forcing men into legal and economic “conservatorships” so they may exploit men's achievements and labor for personal gain.
Women committing men to psych wards so they can start families with different men, hide abusive behavior, or plunder their assets.
Women covering up sexually predatory behavior by other women.
Women stifling lifesaving healthcare for men, resulting in poverty and death for untold thousands of men.
Women imprisoning men and boys as sex slaves in some basement, dungenous room.
Etc., etc., you could fill the goddamn Library of Congress with shit women won’t do to men as they obtain power, THAT HAVE BEEN DONE TO WOMEN BY MEN SINCE THE DAWN OF HUMANITY.
You know what women in leadership looks like? The WNBA. The National Women’s Soccer League. Girls Who Code. The Girl Scouts of the USA. Michigan. Germany under Angela Merkel. The Woman King.
Women in leadership looks like global diplomatic peace and functional healthcare systems. Civil and civic infrastructure that benefits even the sickest and raises even the poorest. Care for elderly parents, paternal and maternal leave for new parents, childcare for those if and when they return to work. Children fed. Support for mothers. Economic prosperity for a greater share of society.

This modern iteration of men is the result of a dynamic that has arisen over centuries, if not millennia ➡️
The VAST MAJORITY OF MEN have been conditioned to see women as FURNITURE. AS ACCESSORIES.
They see us as their mommy, caretaker, nurse, administrative assistant, little buddy, free domestic laborer, therapist, emotion processor, vacation planner and suitcase packer, fetus incubators. They see us as servant and sidekick.
But they don’t see US. They don’t see whole humans. People with passions, interests, traumas, joys — as people inherently worthy of thriving merely because we were born.
And what really terrifies them when the lose access to us is that they lose access to our service, our labor. Our unpaid labor which they DON'T deserve and AREN'T entitled to. They don’t get to walk around, soaked in mediocrity, feeling superior simply because they lack one fourth of a chromosome that caused a phallus to emerge between their legs.
Until men can exhibit more communal traits, their authority should be immediately and spectacularly curtailed.
Their leadership should be neutered.
Only upon the emergence of prolonged displays of emotional maturity and self-improvement, dedication to ending exploitation of people, and divestment from zero-sum approach to power should men be considered for positions of power — and ONLY under strict probation and supervision.
At this point (looks at watch) their unending pits of greed and selfishness that drive their ceaseless, murderous, destructive, harmful ways should negate any position that gives them access to power over people.
It has become very clear that men-centered leadership does not display adequate consideration for and responsibility to the broader society. They have lost the privilege to proclaim any physical, moral, philosophical, intellectual high ground that assumes their superiority in any field or practice.

Men must be de-centered for humanity to have any chance of survival, let alone for women to reclaim their right to agency and self-determination.
This is no surprise.
🚫 Romantic relationships with men who have not performed any work toward healing from inner-patriarchy and misogyny should be avoided like the plague. They are rife with abuse that quells a woman’s ability to dialogue with and honor herself.
🚫 Corporations which exhibit continued prioritization of loyalty to wealthy shareholders intent on exploiting the masses for self-enrichment should be boycotted. Yes, we must all navigate neoliberal capitalism to the best of our ability without falling off a cliff, but women control the vast majority of spending in this country and are not without the power to change our socioeconomic infrastructure for the better.

Instead, women should focus on community with other women, including matriarchies. Also, raising women into leadership positions at already-existing organizations and launching new ones to replace the dilapidated wet dreams of wealthy by men soaked in their own myopic misogyny.
Of course, this presumes cishet white women, such as myself, playing supportive and uplifting roles form Black women, IPOC women, and LGBTQIA women. For too long, white women have been water carriers for white supremacist patriarchy — therefore white women leadership should be the exception, not the rule.
Journalism, publishing, academia, entertainment, finance, art, medicine, international relations, politics, energy, fashion -- every industry -- must all have matriarchal revolutions if we want to build a sustainable future that alleviates the widespread suffering men have unleashed upon this planet for millennia.
And just watch, Sweetcheeks, even the men will fair better under such an “unconventional” way of organizing our civil structures.
