(Re)Launch I: Official (Re)Launch of The Agentic Feminine

Although it really is my first launch, LAUNCH, most of you reading this have been on The Agentic Feminine (TAF) journey with me for some time.

First of all, thank you. So many of you priceless gems of people have given me the encouragement and support necessary to reach this point.
What was I doing before? What was TAF prior to now?
Why is this a launch/relaunch when TAF has been around for a little while??
Prior to this launch, I consider my TAF activities to be my R&D ("research and development" in corporate lingo) phase, my putting my toes in the water, trying to remember who I am and what I’m meant to do phase, trying to tell my story in hopes of finding kindred energy in this raging furnace of life phase. My experimenting and learning in public phase.
I learned so, so much, felt held by some and smacked upside the head by others — and continued walking toward my North Star while rebuilding my post-divorce life after decades of self-abandonment.
Recently, I went media silent. Why?
In the aftermath of the 2024 election and subsequent tragic presidential disaster we are experiencing FOR THE SECOND TIME (INEXCUSABLE!), I had to assiduously reevaluate the direction of my vision and purpose for my life and TAF to meet the widespread assaults and challenges pummeling us on the daily, sometimes hourly.
My reevaluations resulted in these essays:

**I also had to get through the gauntlet that is the end of the school year as a solo parent of elementary, middle school, and high school kiddos. All the band performances were wonderful, I made it through chaperoning the 5th grade field trip to a waterpark, and am now the proud grandmother of a crested gecko named Lemon.
I also needed to finish building out TAF’s preliminary infrastructure. There is an absolute Everest (multiple, really) to climb when setting up a business, not the least of which can be heavy emotionally and borderline terrifying. Considering the backdrop of divorce, moving from Texas to California, rebuilding a life for myself, my two sons and daughter, and our lab-pointer mix — if there’s one thing this endeavor requires, it’s time. Lots and lots of frustratingly unending time. I needed to keep my head down and keep busy.
Alas! I have arrived! Rather, The Agentic Feminine has arrived. Officially.
From here on out, TAF is a business entity as opposed to my personal experimental lab of trying to figure my shit out and become what I’ve always wanted.
Ready for lift-off, baby. 🚀
The Agentic Feminine is a creative endeavor building space and community for those who identify and are socialized as women to REWILD, returning to and honoring themselves through exploration of and divestment from capitalist, white supremacist, patriarchy so that they may reclaim joy and walk toward their thriving life.
As more and more women rewild, reclaiming their power and agency, we can rebalance power infrastructures away from exploitative and oppressive, patriarchal structures.
